Totally off topic White shorts on the bike

White bike shorts....Hup you had them, Tim Johnsons got them, some want them, I had them. Do you know what happens in the summer when you are sweating you ass off?? Or perhaps if you hit a small sprinkle during a long training ride? I really didn't pay much attention to it, until last week. My good friend a frequent riding partner, Jeff and I are out with Mr. Sundt and Mr. Graves and after giving Mr. Sundt are hard time for his "Big Bird" inspired yellow Kelly Benefit kit, Jeff turns to me and says, "At least i don't have to see your ass crack through the damn white shorts anymore!"....it was like a light went off. Lycra is very see thru in certain colors and I sweat like a whore in church. So long story short ditch the white shorts unless you sweat like a small child and use spray deodorant on your ass, or if you are given it by your team. At which point put them on pour a cup of water on crotch and turn to your director/ manager/ clothing supplier and say, "Do you want this in out victory salute?".
